CSG Network Conference & Awards 2009 – Book now

The 2009 conference “Tomorrow’s Places: Create, Maintain, Sustain” will take place in Brighton on 16th & 17th March and will be an event not to be missed.

Land Managers are tackling daily challenges and improving neighbourhoods using best value principles. While dealing with efficiency demands, National Indicators and an ever increasing workload piling on the pressure, accountability – to central government, stakeholders, the media, partners and customers – is increasingly important.

ENCAMS has listened carefully to the issues that challenge members of the Network, integrating these topics into the conference agenda. ENCAMS aims to bring together keynote speakers from Defra and the Department of Communities and Local Government who will each be looking to the future of local environmental quality.

The CSG Network conference aims to inspire, empower and help support you in the delivery of your services, to achieve your targets from a strategic to operational level and has been developed to cater specifically for your needs as a land manager with a remit for improving local environmental quality and tackling anti-social behaviour.

Themes and topics of the conference will include participatory budgeting, how technology can assist operational needs, enforcement, education, diversionary, community safety, and housing sector.

Hosting the event will be Fiona Bruce, one of the BBC's most experienced and high profile presenters.

Fiona has been named Newscaster of the Year at the Television and Radio Industry (TRIC) Awards four times in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008. She is also the recipient of the Michael Elliott Award for Television Presentation 2003.
